An Udder Waste: McMahon Milks Public Schools

According to my source, the Milkman was a pathetic, sloppy, foul alcoholic and womanizer. Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of the Milkman’s behavior was his willingness to take advantage of students. No, I do not mean the youngsters to whom he sold overpriced dairy products, I mean pretty (Milk does a body good, right?) and penniless college girls that Frank lasciviously pursued.

He would approach these young women, flash large amounts of cash and brag about his yacht, the aptly named “Milk Money.” Then would come the talk of his powerful friends. According to my source, the Milkman is best remembered for bragging about his connections to the now former Mayor Richard M. Daley, Alderman Eddie Burke and former Chicago Police Commissioner Phil Cline.

I should mention that Milkman was in his mid-50s during the time he spent in the company of my source. One night at Hawkeye’s Bar on Taylor Street in Chicago, McMahon purportedly began seducing a struggling student by asking her to guess who had more money in his pocket. The Milkman was referring to another man at the bar and himself.

The young vixen said, “I think the other guy has more money Frank, after all the rumor is that you work for your daughter.”

Her flippant and playful response enraged the Milkman, who rudely bellowed, “My daughter works for me! I am the boss! It’s my fu**ing company!”

Frank then went into his pocket, pulled out a few thick bundles of bills (which he almost dropped) and spread out the money on the bar. He then turned to a Chicago Policeman, who was apparently present for the sole purpose of “guarding” the Milkman, and demanded he count the money. The officer mildly admonished his drunken charge, saying, “Frank, be careful. You need that money for your meeting later this evening,” but he did as the Milkman asked. It turned out to be a little more than $46,000.
