Just ask Senator John Kerry, a highly-decorated Vietnam War veteran. Serving his country, Senator Kerry received three wounds in battle. He was awared three Purple Hearts, along with a silver star and bronze star. His valor was unquestioned – until the 2004 election, when Rove knew there was no way a draft dodger like George Bush could possibly stand up next to a hero like Senator Kerry. So the RNC butchers went to work, forever tarnishing Senator Kerry’s meritorious record. It didn’t matter if there was no proof. It didn’t matter that, had this been done to Bush’s father (who was awarded a Distinguished Flying Cross, three Air Medals and the Presidential Unit Citation during World War II), the RNC would have decried the action as revisionist history.
This disgraceful video is just another slash and hack attack conjured out of thin air by a political party so desperate to get back to breaking Unions and giving the rich tax breaks that they are willing to make up lies to destroy the reputation of their president. The disingenuousness of these attacks is sickening, and the miscreants behind them do not deserve to be protected by the very Special Forces they pretend to be protecting. Their conduct alone makes me ashamed to call them fellow Americans.
I am calling on Attorney General Eric Holder to personally investigate the legal status of Special Operations OPSEC Education Fund, which has taken in over one million dollars in the last few months. They list themselves as a 501©4, but it is obvious that this is a cover to hide the names of the people funding this smear job. A 501©4 must spend the majority of their money educating the public, not conducting political assassinations. They are blatantly flouting the law and need to be punished immediately. A democracy which allows such flagrant and vulgar violations of the law cannot thrive, or even exist, for very long. It is paramount that this organization be shut down immediately.

Scott Taylor is not a birther. You are referring to Larry Bailey, who is the former SEAL birther who is in charge of the SOS Pac. However, Paul Valley and Benjamin Smith, who are in Taylor’s OPSEC group, are birthers.

While ANP has typically attracted political writers of a more Republican bend, we have always encouraged people with different opinions to write here. From what I have seen in some of the threads (particularly Roe’s) there are opinions among our readers that are not being represented by the current writing staff. I would gladly welcome you, Logic, to contribute.

Unions are ruining the USA! Its a political circle jerk. They have done far more harm than good. Kennedy mastered the art to gain votes. Many more Dems followed this strategy, like old man Daley. Unions are UN-AMERICAN! The economy of America is a free market. Employment is by choice, right? Then why does the government/unions force people to join unions in certain professions? Because its a political move to take care of politicians who in turn take care of the unions. Look what happened to the non-union workers at Delphi. The got F*%$^#. While the union employees got taken care of. Barry’s health care act is nothing more than a political move to get more people into a heath care union. Barry Soetoro is a fourflushing scum bag.
